Peaches (or 2 large cans, drained) |

Preheat oven to 375°. |

Sift and mix flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and sugar with softened butter and pat 1/3 of mixture firmly into lightly greased 9" square pan. |

Arrange peaches on top. Cover with remaining mixture and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven. |

Pour over the top the beaten egg mixed with the cream. Bake for 30 minutes more. |
