Cream butter. |

Add oil and mix well. |

Add sugar, mix well. |

Add egg and vanilla and mix. |

Sift dry ingredients and add to above mixture. |

Roll into balls, flatten with fingers (or glass greased on bottom). Either dip in sugar or sprinkle sugar on cookies. |

Bake 10 minutes at 375° |
