Sift the first five ingredients together in a large, flat, ungreased cake pan. |

Make two indentations in the dry ingredients and divide the liquid ingredients between the two holes. |

Pour two cups of water over the top. |

Mix thoroughly with a fork until all ingredients are thoroughly dampened. |

Bake 30 minutes at 350°. This cake should not be removed from the pan. Can be iced if desired. |
