Mix together 1/2 cup butter, flour and 1/4 cup powdered sugar. Pat crust in a 9" square pan. |

Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350°. The edges should be slightly browned, |

While crust is baking, beat the granulated sugar and eggs together. |

Add the 2 tablespoons flour, baking powder and lemon juice to this mixture and pour over the baked crust. Bake for 25 minutes at 350°. |
| For frosting: |

When bars are completely cool, frost with the mixture of 3/4 cup powdered sugar, melted butter and lemon juice. |
