| We came across this recipe while on Oahu and it is just wonderful! |

| 3-2/3 cup |

Flour |

Egg, slightly beaten |

Shortening |

| 1½ tsp |

Salt |

| ¾ tsp |
|
Sugar |

| 1 cup |

Milk |

Sesame seeds |

Poppy seeds |

Sift together into a bowl the flour, salt and sugar. |

Work in the shortening and the add the slightly beaten egg with the milk. (Firm dough) Let stand for half an hour. |

Roll very thin (I used a pasta maker) about 1/8 inch thick. |

Sprinkle large sheet pan with roasted sesame seeds. Place sheet of dough over seeds and sprinkle top with poppy seeds. |

Bake at 375° for 15 minutes. |
