This is one of my Mom's recipes and one I've always loved! It was a Thanksgiving stand-by! |

Eggs |

1 cup |

Sugar |
|
1 Tbsp |
|
Flour |
|
1 tsp |
|
Baking Powder |
|
1 cup |
|
Walnuts, chopped |
|
1 pkg |
|
Dates (my guess would be 8 to 10 ounces) , Cut in small pieces |

1 tsp |

Vanilla |

Beat eggs slightly and add the sugar gradually. |

Add the flour and baking powder, stirring well to blend. |

Add the chopped nuts, dates and vanilla. |

Bake in well-greased loaf pan set in about inch of water. |

Serve with whipped cream. |
