Mix the butter, cream and flour to form a soft dough. Chill. |

Roll a third of the dough at a time, 1/8" thick on a lightly floured board. Cut with a 1-1/2" round cookie cutter. |

Sprinkle sugar on each side of the round. Prick each cookie four times with a fork. |

Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 7 to 9 minutes in a 375° oven. Cool. |
